DAY TWO
Notice
MEET LIFE MINDFULLY
Your only practice today is to notice.
Welcome
Yesterday, you chose who you wanted to be.
Today, you practice being here long enough to notice what is actually happening.
Around you.
Within you.
Most of us move through life on autopilot.
We replay yesterday.
We rush toward tomorrow.
We react before realizing we've reacted.
Heart-Powered Living invites something different.
Not to become someone new.
Simply to wake up to the life that is already unfolding.
Today, notice the world around you.
Notice the world within you.
There is nothing to fix.
Only something to notice.
Guided Meditation
Let's begin here.
Find somewhere you can be still for a few minutes.
We'll begin with the body, the breath, and the awareness that is already here.
Then I'll send you back into your day to practice noticing.
Becoming Aware
As you move through today, return to one question:
What am I noticing right now?
The world around you.
The world within you.
What you're seeing.
What you're sensing.
What you're thinking.
What you're feeling.
Nothing to change.
Nothing to fix.
Just notice.
The Witness
There is a part of you that becomes frustrated.
And there is a part of you that notices the frustration.
There is a part of you that gets caught in thought.
And there is a part of you that notices the thinking.
You can have an experience without becoming the experience.
A thought can be here without becoming truth.
An emotion can move through you without becoming all of you.
A story can arise without requiring you to follow it.
Today, become familiar with the awareness that notices.
It has been here all along.
Carry It Forward
The meditation isn't the practice.
Noticing is.
As you move through your day:
Pause.
Feel your feet.
Take one conscious breath.
Ask:
What am I noticing right now?
Around me.
Within me.
And then keep living.
Every moment of awareness is already a return.
Now, go live.
Become fascinated by your life.
See what becomes visible when you're actually here for it.
Want Some Company?
This conversation explores the ideas behind today's practice and how they come alive in everyday life.
Listen while you're walking, driving, making a meal, or whenever the day gives you a quiet moment.
Evening Reflection
Over dinner, on an evening walk, or as your day begins to quiet, sit with one question.
What did I notice today that I usually miss?
Today’s Companion
Something to keep from today.
Explore what you noticed today and begin recognizing the thoughts, stories, and patterns that quietly shape your experience.
Save it somewhere you'll find it again.
